Two of my buddies just made the trip over to Kenya to spend the summer. Chrissy Johnston and Stephanie Boyter just packed up to serve Christ over in the slums with people who are in desperate need of Jesus. Chrissy has been serving on our Commission Team here at North Side and is about to graduate from Lander while Stephanie is a student at Clemson.
It’s so incredible to think of those two 20-somethings who understand what life is about – losing it. That’s what life is supposed to be. You find it when you lose it. At least that’s what Jesus said in Luke 9:24. And I pretty much believe it since I’ve based everything in my life around Him.
