God’s Pursuit

I was so excited to be back at North Side this week.

I’ve been gone for too long, gone to other churches, and I was just ready to be back with our family. And it was a wonderful time today!

Today, we worshiped to these songs (and boy, did the praise band sound great and led great without me today – I’m working myself out of a job!):

  • Beautiful One – Tim Hughes
  • Jesus Paid It All – Kristian Stanfill
  • Unfailing Love – Chris Tomlin & Steven Curtis Chapman
  • How Great is Our God – Chris Tomlin

experiencing godWe continued in our series, Experiencing God today. We are going to spend 12 weeks on this series and I am so excited. A few hundred of you picked up the study books last week and have started going through the study with the rest of the church family. If you haven’t gotten it yet, make sure to pick it up in the bookstore.

As we went through “God’s Pursuit,” Jeff reminded us of how persistent God is in pursuing us. He desires to have an intimate relationship with us, but oftentimes, we live out of bounds in how he says we are to live. He wants us to live in a relationship of obedience to him.

He is pursuing us. How will you respond?

If you didn’t get to hear the message, you can listen to it here!

Don’t forget to come to NSU tonight! It starts @ 5:30. Come to the commons area and we will get you to the right spot. Impact Teams – Wednesday night at 6, we will meet in the commons area to get with your teams and get your assignments. If you are planning on attending, please call the church office and tell them you are coming. We don’t want to have 20 people at a job site that needs 6 because you didn’t sign up! So please sign up!
