30 Days to Live: Live Passionately

What a fantastic Easter Sunday morning at North Side!  Having 3 full services of energetic worshipers is always an exciting way to start a day.  We started a new series called “30 Days to Live.”  We focused on how would we live if we only knew we had one month to live.  What would you do?  How would you change?

The whole service was a powerful time.  The testimonies, the music (13 people in the band this week), the message, and the invitation.  Such a great day to see Jesus’ power in our lives.

Today, we worshiped to:

In the middle of the 11:15 service, I had to hold back the laughter.  Something in our AVL crashed during the worship that basically froze the screen, and we were without lyrics for most of the service.  Normally, this should stress our a worship leader.  It is never good, but especially on Easter, church life as we know it should have just died.

But it was amazing.  People didn’t need the lyrics to sing out.  It was if the song was welling up in our spirits.  Powerful time when things don’t work like they are supposed to, God still showed up in an amazing way.  So grateful for his presence today and the life change that he made happen today!  He is risen.  He is risen indeed!

  5. The music this morning was beautiful! I hope all the choir hears that their talents were greatly appreciated. Some of the songs were eerily beautiful (they all sounded great), and you did a great job leading us in “Oh Happy Day.”

  10. Travis – as the saying goes: “God inhabits the praise of His people. The devil inhabits the sound system.” You guys have never needed the lyrics anyway. Even in practices half of you are singing with your hands raised.
