Help Us Make Disciples

What a great day at North Side!  Jeff threw a bomb on us again this morning as we went through the “Dear God” series.

Jesus defined Christianity by a simple phrase: “make disciples.”  How much of that actually takes place in our lives?  Jesus’ call was not for an institution to do that, but we, as individual believers, are to make disciples of those around us.

Today, we worshiped to:

It was such a fun morning.  Our team is getting better and better each week.  They just knock it out of the park!  It was special for Amanda and I to share “Nothing is Impossible” with the church this week after singing it in our home for the last year.  If you didn’t get to see the storytellers video, I will post it tomorrow on the blog.

My favorite moment was watching our church continue to become a praying church.  We had a time when people could come to the front and fill out a card that said, “God, If You Could Only…”  Praying over these people and getting the chance to pray over them this week is such an honor.

Great things are coming church!  Make disciples this week!

  1. Yesterday was unbelievable! Very close to my heart since I began a journey with God in January to help others grow in the Word and then recently to disciple new Christians or those who want to understand more. I am so grateful that God has allowed me of all people to come on this journey with Him and be part of what He is doing. Jeff’s sermon was exactly what I needed too for a lot of reasons. This week I will be speaking on Baptism and the Holy Spirit. I have learned so much as God is using little me to help others grow. Loved the video by the way. I vote for one every week!!
