The Origin of Marriage

What a great day @ North Side!  We started a new series called Origins as we study through Genesis 1-11.

Today, we worshiped to:

It was great to be able to lead the new song, “Worthy” today.  I’ll post the storytellers behind the song later this week.  It was great on this day to have the bookends in worship as we celebrated God’s truth in Genesis to Revelation.

With a family dedication (we don’t call it baby dedication anymore, it’s a family’s promise), great testimony from Scott Smith from Lander’s BCM, time of scripture reading, prayer, and wide open worship, it was a great day!  Loved hearing you sing out and respond today.

In this message, we focused on the origin of marriage in Genesis 2.  In the book of beginnings, God shows us what marriages today are to be focused on based upon the focus of the first marriage.  Marriage is meant to be more than making your spouse happy.

The whole day was simply powerful!  The message will be available this afternoon, so if you didn’t get to hear it, check it out!
