1 Peter 2:11 Beloved, I urge you as sojourners and exiles to abstain from the passions of the flesh, which wage war against your soul. 12 Keep your conduct among the Gentiles honorable, so that when they speak against you as evildoers, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day of visitation.
As we continue through 1 Peter, and learn from these truths, it was amazing this week to see how we got ahead of ourselves in the Mushere translation. We are translating the book for an unreached people group, and we are already in chapter 5 by Sunday morning. Think about the significance of this! We get the opportunity to being a part of how God allows the Mushere people to hear the truths of 1 Peter for the first time!
The message was great. Very passionate and straightforward which was what this passage needed. We did a bunch of music from the 1 Peter project and it was great to hear everyone singing out on these new songs that are birthed from 1 Peter.
