Beautiful snow coming down in Greenwood today and we took advantage of this rare falling phenomenon in our neck of the woods to make a David and Goliath snowmen. Our previous efforts had been Moses the Snowman and Jonah and the Snowfish, but we decided to go 1 Samuel 17 today.
Everyone was in the spirit and the snow was the perfect kind for building snowmen.
Eli loved taking his trailer wherever he needed in order to get some fresh snow.
Dad worked hard to stabilize the bodies.
Gloria brought some significant amount of snow and cuteness to the endeavor.
Everyone was chipping in.
That was until Tammy came over and distracted everyone into a snowball war.
Even our great neighbors came over to help.
Then David said to the Philistine, “You come to me with a sword and with a spear and with a javelin, but I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. (1 Samuel 17:45 ESV)
