Incredible services today. I don’t know all the causes, but we had a bunch of new faces around North Side today. I know some were people who came back after the Fall Festival on Friday, so that is great news! But there were so many people and new faces and I pray that we can help you get connected to the church!
We got to start out our services with baptism. After that, we sang “Burning in My Soul” and “Enter His Gates.” Last Sunday, it was just me on piano. This Sunday, we had 15 people in the band! It was such a full sound today. The team worked so hard.
We shared a promo video for our Homes for Hope event and also showed a video to explain “The Word” project and the new song, “No One Like Our God.”
After the video, we shared the song, and the team really got after it. The song goes through the story of Exodus with all these musical complexities and lyrical storytelling. I heard so many encouraging words after the services. We got some more songs to share in the weeks to come!
Jeff’s message on the covenant was incredible. God rescues us and then gives us rules to obey. We are to have our lives changed by his grace.
After the message, we sang “We Exalt Thee” and it was incredible hearing all the voices singing out. Powerful time indeed!
