What an incredible day with the people of North Side. Summer starting, lots of new faces, and some incredible time with Jesus!
We took a 1-week break in the Book of James for Edgar Enriquez to preach for us. He chose Titus 2:10-14 as his focus passage and we built the service around it.
Today’s service went like this:
- Song – Amazed/Living Hope Medley
- Welcome – Jeff walked us through Isaiah 6
- Song – You Are Holy
- Song – Jesus Paid It All
- Shake-n-Shine Commissioning
- Song – Redeemed
- Message – Titus 2:10-14
- Song – Make Me Holy
While there were so many things I loved about today’s services, I was overwhelmed with Edgar. He said he was worried he was going to get very emotional thanking the church for what they have done in his life. He seemed to hold it together well, but I was crying like a baby. I loved reliving the story of how Jesus changed Edgar’s life and how he is now changing so many others’ lives.
His message was so great. The grace of God frees us from worldly living. It frees us to a life of godliness. We can hold on because we know Jesus is coming back to reign.
I can’t wait to see all that God does through his life. I know this – he impacted me today. It was an incredible message, but I am more amazed at the sermon he preaches with his life.
Hope you can join us for Summer Roundtable tonight at 6. If you can’t come, see you Wednesday at 6!
