The Battle Plan for Prayer Bible Study [Join Us at North Side]

By now, many of you have seen War Room. This powerful movie has caused many people to consider the power of prayer.

I had the extreme privilege to work with the Kendrick Brothers to develop a Bible study on prayer. It is entitled, The Battle Plan for Prayer Bible Study.

This was the fourth project I got to develop with these guys, and this one had the most impact on me personally. Engaging with Scripture concerning the multitude of prayer references caused me to become more of a prayer warrior. If no one else ever read this study, my life was changed.

I Finally Get to Teach It!

After many hours in the development phase, I get to do what I have been most excited about – teach it at our church. With our North Side University classes, we are offering this course twice this year.

You don’t have to get the book to take the course, but if you want to follow along with it, they are available at the bookstore.

There are two books – 1 is the trade book and 1 is the Bible study. Both are great and beneficial, but we will be using the Bible study one (on the right) as a workbook for the course.

You don’t have to be a member at North Side to come. You don’t have to sign up. Just show up. I would love to see you this Sunday. Bring a Bible and a pen, and get a book before you come if you want to follow along.

Are you reading to take your prayer life to the next level? Do you want to experience the joy of answered prayer on a regular basis? This Bible study is designed to help believers become more devoted to prayer and to faithfully and effectively wield the weapon of prayer in the battles and seasons of life.

Through eight weeks of scriptural study, you will:

Discover what prayer is and various types of prayer;
Gain understanding on how and why God wants us to pray;
Learn to respond in prayer during spiritual warfare;
Discover truths about God that will help you pray in faith;
Develop targeted prayer strategies for your life.

Prayer should be your first plan of attack for all of life’s conflicts and your ready defense against the Enemy. It’s time to learn how to fight the battles with the right weapons – to pray in greater faith and walk in greater victory.
