How to Cover a Multitude of Sins

I had the privilege a couple of weekends ago to preach in Kentucky for a DNOW that united 17 churches in the area.  After the main events for the group, I also got the privilege to preach at Northside Baptist Church in Elizabethtown, KY.

The DNOW weekend focused on the Book of James, so I just decided to finish the weekend with that church by going to the last 2 verses from the book (James 5:19-20).

If you have ever wanted to address another’s sins, the biblical approach is intentional confrontation.

I pray that this message can help you do the hard thing (which also might be the right thing).

Here are the main points:

  1. There is such a thing as truth.
  2. Believers can stray from the truth in our beliefs and in our behavior.
  3. There are serious consequences for wanderers.
  4. God brings wanderers back through believers who are willing to speak the truth.
