Tonight, Fusion is wrapping up for this semester with a special worship service at the Greenwood Community Theatre at 7:30. Jamie, Cory, and myself will be leading a night of worship/concert of sorts.
I am going to preach with my bass guitar. I am actually going to have a message about the change that happened in me in college, but I am going to do it my sharing some songs I wrote while I was in college. This night which will be a concert at some points, message at some points, and a whole bunch of worship throughout the night, is hoping to be a great night to close Fusion.
The original songs I am going to perform in the middle come from a CD I did while I was in college called Keep Quiet. They highlight what Jesus did in my life during college and how it changed me inside outwardly focused.
Shameless plug: If you want to check out the music and get a copy, you can get a copy on iTunes or Amazon.
If you are in the area, we would love to see you tonight.
Just a reminder that tonight is Fusion! Fusion is officially going green. Whoever wears the most green on this St. Patty’s Day will get a $25 gas card.
My green clothing today is a name tag I put together quickly in order to miss being pinched at staff meeting.
For any college students, 20-somethings, or just interested people, we will be meeting at the Greenwood Community Theatre tonight (Tuesday) @ 7:30 for a time of worship, fellowship, and a message that I will deliver.
Bring a friend and we will see you there!
I stayed up way too late last night watching everything come in; it’s not that it is too late, but it is when your six month old still wakes you up too early! It was a historical night, and here are some of my thoughts:
“Some boast in chariots an some in horses, but we will boast in the name of the LORD, our God. They have bowed down and fallen, but we have risen and stood upright. Save, O LORD; May the King answer us in the day we call.” -Psalm 20:7-9
