One Doctrine

[This picture was taken before soundcheck on my phone.  The light hit perfectly catching my two youngins eating breakfast and getting ready to jam out with Daddy and Mommy.]

Wow.  What a huge day to celebrate Jesus and focus on North Side striving together for one doctrine.

In an increasingly biblically illiterate society, we must commit ourselves now more than ever to knowing God’s Word.  It’s more than our church having correct doctrinal beliefs, it’s about each member comprehending those beliefs and applying the biblical message into their lives.

Jeff’s un-message and Bill Horvath’s testimony were huge!  The drive behind this team to make sure that our people know God’s Word and obey God’s Word is incredible.  I can’t wait to see what direction we head in.  You can listen to Jeff’s message here.

Today, we worshiped to:

I was blown away by how our church worshiped today.  So much passion and dedication.  God’s truth should lead us to true worship!

I led worship for the last time with my tonsils and adenoids in.  I will not miss these guys clogging up my airwaves, but it was great to sing them into submission one last time.  Losing air and being dried out is not fun, and I just hope that I don’t come out of surgery with a soprano voice.

Pray that you get in the Word today.  Get in it this week.  One doctrine from God’s Word.

Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth.  -2 Timothy 2:15
