Your Children’s Advisors

ADVISORS

Listen, my son, to your father’s instruction, and don’t reject your mother’s teaching, for they will be a garland of grace on your heard and a gold chain around your neck.  My son, if sinners entice you, don’t be persuaded.  -Prov. 1:8-10

How can you obtain the trust of your children so that they will desire to listen to your instruction?

As you help your children navigate the paths of life, you must prepare them for the turns along the way.  In doing so, you can’t change the outcome of their walks, but you can set them up for success as much as possible.  To do so, you must prepare the path, bless the path, and pray over the path.

What is that area that you are getting closer to that makes you anxious?

If you have a fork in the road coming, have you worked hard at gaining the ears of your children so they will desire to hear your advice?
