Sermon Notes

  1. Peace is acquired when your mind stays fixed on God.
  2. Peace is not determined by circumstances but obtained through trust.
  3. How can I live at peace? 1) Set my mind to think about God. 2) Set my heart to trust God.
  4. “You keep him in perfect peace” is written in the original language as “peace peace.”  It is a literary doubling up to show emphasis.
  5. Make it a priority to think about the LORD.
  6. Don’t be like Peter who focused on the wind and the waves (Matt. 14:30).

The steadfast of mind you will keep in perfect peace because he trust in you. -Isaiah 26:3
