  1. I think it's a spiritual growth/disciple​ship issue. We can talk all day long about individuals who complain about the sanctuary's temperature or the volume of the music or Sunday school versus small groups. If we are actively seeking the face of Christ through personal fellowship and devotion, these secondary matters will fade into non-existence while the mission of Christ takes preeminence. How do we move people to embrace the work of the kingdom when the sheep seem satisfied to wallow in their stubbornness?

  2. We forget who we serve, who we love, who we belong to…Jesus Christ. It's not about our desires and opinions but about His. "Seek ye first the Kingdom of God.

  3. We are more concerned about the color of the carpet in the sanctuary then reaching people for Christ. Did I say that out loud?
