Good Grief

I had the privilege of worship with North Side at 9:30 and preaching at First Mount Moriah at 11:00!  Great to be able to celebrate what God is doing in both congregations.

At Mt. Moriah, they had a Family Day and I got the honor to preach from Joshua 24.  Love Pastor Bryant Sims and Youth Pastor Zack Little and all they are doing at that congregation.  Such a great church.

At North Side, it was a special day as we continued through 1 Thessalonians.

  • How Great Thou Art
  • Cornerstone
  • Welcome (Scripture, prayer time from Eppleys and Georges)
  • It Is Well
  • Message – Good Grief (1 Thess. 4:13-18)
  • In Christ Alone

I am not surprised at how well our worship team does week in and week out.  They are just so consistent regardless of who is up there.  We are blessed with a fantastic group of godly and talented folks leading the way each week.

Jeff’s sermon was on point as always.  If you have ever been curious about Christ’s return, you need to check out this message.  As Jeff pointed out, most Americans got their beliefs on Christ’s return from a Christian fiction book and not the Bible.  Time to update that.

We also made some improvements this week in the realm of streaming the services. We are using YouTube instead of Livestream and it will also help our incorporation with the brand new app.

I heard so many great comments about the upgrade in the preschool area and all new environments are getting better each week.  Exciting days around here!
