Distinctive Discipleship [Tennessee Conference]

I was privileged to serve alongside the saints in Alcoa & Maryville, TN for a conference around Distinctive Discipleship. Working collectively across denominational lines, a group of churches, recovery programs, and missionaries started using the Distinctive Discipleship process as a mutual ministry method and asked me to train them further. It was an incredible opportunity to see people coming together for the Great Commission!

This conference was hosted at Everett Hills Baptist Church but works with other churches and ministries in the area.

Session 1 – Imitation Is the Sincerest Form of Discipleship

1 Thessalonians 1:5-7

More than lessons to learn, we need examples to follow. The most accurate form of discipleship is when we are intentional about life-on-life imitation.

Session 2 – God’s Not Done With You Yet

Philippians 1:1-11

God began a good work in you, and He never leaves anything unfinished. While you are not there yet, He will gradually help you make progress.

Session 3 – Distinctive Discipleship

Colossians 1:27-29

If you feel stuck in your Christian walk, it is time to start moving again. The solution for spiritual stagnation is distinctive discipleship.
