I was just driving away from class when I heard James Dobson talk on the radio about Tuesday’s vote. There was a pretty shocking vote in California where they overturned the right for homosexual marriage. Since most people would think that California would support it, I was shocked to hear that it got stopped.
I was overwhelmed when I heard why it might have been stopped. Over 30,000 people gathered in the Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego for prayer and fasting to stop this initiative. The movement is called the “Call” and can be found at thecall.com. These people prayed aloud (all at the same time) for over 12 hours. Some fasted for days. They just called on God to stop this initiative in the state that people thought there was no chance.
And it worked.
Here’s Dobson on a video for you to explain some of it and some pictures beneath. Pretty wild stuff.
