Luke 2:39-52 – As Jesus matured in wisdom and stature, He amazed those around Him. Spiritual growth takes a lifetime, reminding us that none of us has fully arrived yet.
By God’s design, growth takes a lifetime.
Faithful Foundations (2:39-42)
- A home built on God’s Word establishes lasting stability (39-40).
- Consistent worship forms compelling faith (41-42).
Cultivating Curiosity (2:43-50)
- A curious faith keeps leaning in, not checking out (2:43-48).
- Becoming like your Father begins by being with your Father (2:49-50).
Gradual Growth (2:51-52)
- Growth happens through steady submission, not automatic arrival (2:51).
- Spiritual maturity reveals itself across every area of life (2:52):
- Mental (wisdom), physical (stature), spiritual (favor with God), and relational (favor with people)
If your hope rests in the third day, you can’t settle for a stagnant faith.
