Romans 6:1-4 – Through Jesus’ death and resurrection, believers are dead to sin and raised to life. His grace is not permission to keep sinning but power to walk away from it and live differently.
- Never mistake God’s forgiveness as permission to keep sinning (6:1-2).
- Baptism is your way of saying, “My old life is done; my new life has begun” (6:3).
- If you’re still living in what He died for, you’ve missed what He died to give (6:4).
