Psalm 19:1-14 – The heavens declare God’s glory, and His Word reveals His character with perfect clarity. Let His creation inspire awe while His commands lead you toward a life that pleases Him.
You’ll never respond to God as you should until you know Him as He is.
Creation (1-6)
- Creation is too magnificent to explain without its Maker.
- If creation doesn’t lead you to glorify God, you’ll glorify something else.
Commands (7-11)
- Creation reveals that God is; revelation reveals who God is.
- God’s Word reflects God’s character and reshapes ours.
Cleansing (12-14)
- The Word that reveals God also reveals our hidden faults and willful sin.
- God desires obedience both publicly and privately.
Creation speaks of God.
Scripture speaks for God.
Obedience speaks to God.
