Today we started a new series at North Side called “GRACE.”
To help us understand the gospel, for the next few weeks, we will use the acrostic “GRACE:” God, Rebellion, Atonement, Conversion, and Eternity. The gospel begins with God. In fact, it is accurate to say that everything in life begins with God. Jeff’s message was so powerful: anytime you focus on painting a big picture of a big God, it is amazing.
Hope you caught why we are doing this series: 1) to ensure you are saved, and 2) to ensure you are able to communicate the gospel to others. Whether you are sharing it to your coworkers, family members, friends, or whoever, we are praying that this series will cement the gospel in your mind.
Today, we worshiped to:
- Your Grace is Enough – Chris Tomlin
- Let God Arise – Chris Tomlin
- Mighty to Save – Hillsong
- High and Lifted Up – Hillsong
I tried out leading with guitar today, I normally lead by bass. After the second service, when I broke a string on a slow song, I remembered why I normally play bass. I have only broken two bass strings in my life (which actually is impressive), but I break guitar strings all the time. I will have to find heavier gauge strings or learn to calm my enthusiasm.
Maybe…
See you next week!
