I had a great time with North Side college students this week at Passion 2012. We joined @45,000 other college students for worship. Pretty special time. Hence, I was getting a lot of time to blog while out there due to busy days and 3-4 hours a sleep a night.
During the downtimes (which were minimal due to all the great stuff going on), I was working hard on the Resolution small group Bible study since my deadline is the new few days. I would normally find a chair or section of carpet to plant myself down and work hard on finishing the Bible studies. I had a crazy experience there that was funny and reminded me of the awesome opportunity to be a small part of what is going on with this Courageous resource.
On Thursday morning, I was sitting in a chair in the Georgia World Congress Center with my laptop, Bible, and The Resolution book out getting to work. A lady from Mississipi nearby asked, “Are you going though The Resolution?”
“Uh, yeah, kinda. I’m working through it.”
“I love it! I got The Resolution for Women. My husband is reading the one for men. You know what they need to do? I wish somebody would write a small group Bible study to go along with that book. My husband and his small group need a study like that.”
I replied, “Hmm, that’s not a bad idea. There’s a lot of good stuff in there. I actually heard that they are putting one together. In fact, I heard from someone that it’s being worked on right now with a release set for the Spring.”
“Oh, that’s just awesome!” she replied. “I can’t wait to tell my husband about that.”
Me either. 😉
