A Picture of Simple Faith

Today was a day we had prayed and planned about for countless hours.  I got to the church campus at 6:30 this morning to tweak a few things and pray over every area in the church.  It was such a great reminder to think of how God had been uniting so many things together.

With a new schedule and some new formats, we had plenty of room for train wrecks and I am very pleased to say that today was a smooth, powerful day of worship and discipleship.

From Gospel Groups and Discipleship Groups to worship services, today was simply an incredible day.

The teams that worked so hard to make these transitions were incredible.  All of the reports I am hearing are sounding like this: “This is so simple…makes so much sense…today was incredible…we need to make adjustments to make things even better but no overhauls…”

That’s some great news!

In our worship services, this is how the service came together as we focused on 1 Thess. 4:9-12:

  • All My Fountains
  • Oh, the Deep, Deep Love of Jesus
  • Prayer over school year
  • All to Us
  • Sermon – 1 Thess. 4:9-12
  • Unite Us Together

It was such a special day.  I can’t say enough about our staff and volunteers.  I am so thankful for a church that is passionate about what happens in the home and at the church campus.

The new Sunday evening schedule begins tonight with something and intentional for everyone:
