I had the privilege a couple of weekends ago to preach in Kentucky for a DNOW that united 17 churches in the area. After the main events for the group, I also got the privilege to preach at Northside Baptist Church in Elizabethtown, KY.
The DNOW weekend focused on the Book of James, so I just decided to finish the weekend with that church by going to the last 2 verses from the book (James 5:19-20).
If you have ever wanted to address another’s sins, the biblical approach is intentional confrontation.
I pray that this message can help you do the hard thing (which also might be the right thing).
Here are the main points:
- There is such a thing as truth.
- Believers can stray from the truth in our beliefs and in our behavior.
- There are serious consequences for wanderers.
- God brings wanderers back through believers who are willing to speak the truth.
