A corrupt man named Zaccheus was curious about Jesus, yet he didn’t know that Jesus was seeking him. It is incredible to realize that Jesus is not only willing to know us, but He is also eager to do so.
Sermon at North Greenville University Ignite Service 2024
- Some hindrances to Jesus are our own fault, and others are beyond our control.
- Each of us has the sinful habit of taking advantage of others to advance ourselves.
- Each of us has disadvantages that successfully obstruct our view of Jesus.
- Before we ever sought Jesus, He was already pursuing us.
- Marvel at the sycamore’s seed more than its climber.
- Jesus befriends us before we are worthy of His friendship.
- We are not saved by good works but for good works.
- If you’ve genuinely received salvation, noticeable change always accompanies it.
- Consider how intentional Jesus has been for you to get this glimpse of Him right now.
- What you think about Jesus is contingent upon what you think He thinks about you.
- Jesus knows everything about you and still loves you anyway.
- Reflect – I’m thankful I’m still following Jesus.
- Reject – I don’t want to follow Jesus.
- Receive – I am ready to start following Jesus.
