2023 Sermon Plan

For 2023, our church is going to study the Book of Exodus in its entirety. The breakdown of the book charts a course for us as we study the Word of God together.

Evaluating Margins

If you are at the place in your life where you have so much to do that you don’t know what to do next, it’s probably because you aren’t doing the important work of evaluation. You must ensure that you can step back to get a handle on your chaos.

Unlikely Contributions

We often categorize people’s skills by those which can serve sacred situations and others which can work in secular environments. To our detriment, we wrongly characterize the majority of how God has equipped people to a point of no usability.

Golden Distractions

Once leaving Egypt, the Israelites were so ingrained in the former culture, that they continued to worship idols. The people took a gift from God and used it as a replacement for God.

If Your Children Worship Like You

Will you pleased if your children worship like you? Cause if you want them to have a deeper spiritual fervor than your own, you might want to start giving them an example to imitate.

The Exodus

God created a world and covenanted with a people. As this family grew into a nation, they were sovereignly placed into the most powerful nation in the world. This nation now had the opportunity to tell all nations about the God above all other gods.

How Sensual Exposure Affects a Marriage

One of the greatest threats to sexual purity and marital intimacy is the exposure of immoral material present in our society. Being a member of this culture ensures that you have been exposed to sinful content and suggestive comments that distort sexual sanctity.

Generational Curses

God’s Word exposes numerous issues for any family to address in order to walk in conformity with his standard and design. A misunderstanding of generational curses can discourage people from making noble attempts to turn a family’s legacy around.

Controlling Comparison

The 10th commandment warns against coveting. While this sin may be last on the list, it is one of the most prevalent in our hearts. In fact, our casual acceptance of it reveals that we don’t take it that seriously. Deep down, this is as serious of a sin as they come. It’s time to go the 2nd mile on controlling comparison.
