I’m heading back from Nashville today from a busy few days at LifeWay. I left Sunday in the middle of the last service to get to GSP to make a flight. Monday and Tuesday were full of ideation for LifeWay’s 2012 curriculum. I was humbled to write for this great team again when they asked me to write a unit on selected Psalms entitled “The Heart of Worship.”
It was great catching up with old friends and meeting new ones. While I was there, I also got to spend some time with the editorial team for Courageous.
I got a copy of the Courageous Campaign kit and heard progress on the Bible study I worked on which is now entitled “Honor Begins at Home.” It is coming together nicely and is looking great! They have so many details to work on, I am definitely praying for these last steps of theirs.
Since we worked from early in the morning till late in the evening, I only had a few hours open. I spent most of that time in the hotel writing curriculum or programming some worship loops for some upcoming projects.
Great quick trip, but it reminds me how much I need my family on the regular. I have been lonely, and I miss them something awful! Can’t wait to get home, get some love, then practice tonight with a couple of bands for Sunday’s full schedule.
