10 Bible Verses on Missions

Not only does the Bible contain verses on missions, a major theme of the Bible is God’s mission to redeem a lost people. While there are many verses to study, here are some of the most pivotal 10 verses that summarize missions.

  1. Matt. 28:19-20 – Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.
  2. Psalm 96:3 – Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous works among all the peoples!
  3. Matt. 24:14 – And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.
  4. Acts 1:8 – But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.
