If you are looking for a good New Year’s resolution, why not reading through the Bible? Many people always feel guilty about not reading the Bible. Most of the time it is because they do not have a plan for doing it.
I have tried different things, but this year, Amanda and I are going to do the Robert Roberts’ Reading Plan. This plan, which YouVersion uses and is over 100 years old, will have you read through the Old Testament once and the New Testament twice in one year.
It has three different sections to read each day from different parts so that people won’t quit in the middle of genealogies or OT sacrificial commandments. You normally read 4-6 chapters a day.
So far, I have loved this plan. You can get the plan here.
If you started today, you could catch up quickly. There might be better plans out there, but if you don’t have a plan for reading the Bible, this plan is better than that plan!
