I saw this church sign awhile back. It made me chuckle but also cringe at the same time.
I do not agree with everything that President Barack Obama does. I am brokenhearted over some of his stances. But he is my president.
And of all the things that people will say about him or say we should do, I know I have at least one biblical responsibility to him:
1 Timothy 2:1 First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, 2 for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way.
Today is his birthday. Have you prayed for him recently?
*By the way, this post is not a place to share your positive or negative comments concerning your opinions about President Obama. I just want you to read a passage that I often neglect unfortunately. I really want to live biblically.
