As 2018 comes to a close, I wanted to share with you a list of the top posts written on the blog in 2018.
#1. What We Know for Sure
The courtroom drama and the national firestorm that was the Supreme Court hearing of appointed Judge Brett Kavanaugh and accuser Dr. Christine Blasey Ford taught me something on lying and how we turn a blind eye to those we support.  Someone was lying.  Regardless of who is lying, someone has ruined another’s life, and we can’t even listen to the situation without making assumptions based on our biases.
#2. The Black Eye of the Southern Baptist Convention
The Southern Baptist Convention had a rough year with why some of its leaders made the headlines.  God will allow a black eye on His people because He won’t accept a black eye on Himself.
#3. 66 Themes [Memory Verses from Every Book in the Bible]
One Scripture memory collection that I encourage you to consider is to memorize a theme verse from every book in the Bible.
#4. 14 Questions You Shouldn’t Ask Adoptive Families
Don’t be afraid to make conversation with a conspicuous adoptive family, just think about what you say.  Especially be sensitive if that child or any of his or her siblings are around.
#5. Who Are the Pharisees in the Southern Baptist Convention?
Who are the Pharisees in the Southern Baptist Convention? Â Am I one of them? Â If Jesus entered my world today, would He classify me as a religiously blinded know-it-all or a gratefully forgiven dependent for-it-all? Â
#6. 7 Christian Female Singers You Might Not Know [But You Should]
Here are a list and some clips of some female singers you need to have on your radar.
#7. 13 Ways to Exasperate Your Children
Provoking a child exasperates them. Â The constant barrage from their parents will break their spirits. Â Here are 13 ways you can exasperate your children if you are not careful.
#8. “I Married the Wrong Person”
Whether it is unrealistic or unclear expectations, realize that you are setting your spouse up for failure. Remove the idea that you got the wrong person.
#9. How to Tell If You’ve Joined an Imposter Church
I am concerned that people no longer have time for a real church because they have given themselves entirely to an imposter church.
#10. The Difference a Study Bible Can Make in Prison
We were able to give a study Bible to a man in prison. Â His letter back challenged my perspective on the gift of God’s Word.
