The LORD Is My Healer

Exodus 15:22-27 – When the Israelites discovered bitter water at the beginning of their trek through the wilderness, God instructed Moses on how to make it sweet. God reminded them that He is their Healer, and we must remember that no situation is behind His remedying.

Evangelistic Friendship

Should we share the gospel with unbelievers or befriend them? You can and should do both! The gospel and goodwill are not enemies of one another.

Remember How God Brought You Out

Exodus 13:1-16 – When the Israelites emerged from Egypt, God gave them a chance to live again. Jesus has defeated our greatest enemies and set us free to follow Him all the way to the Promised Land.

While We Were Yet Sinners

Romans 5:6-11 – Christ didn’t offer His life for us because we deserved it. He was gracious to us while we were yet sinners.

Remember How God Passed You Over

Exodus 12:1-50 – In the final plague, God passed over those who believed in the power of a sacrificial substitute. Jesus’ sacrifice satisfies our deserving punishment, and we are given life through His death.

Crucifixion

John 1:9-14 – Since we could not make it to heaven, heaven came to us. The life, death, and resurrection of Jesus would change everything.

Fear Not – There Is Good News

Luke 2:1-20 – The angels announced the gracious and glorious arrival of Jesus to a group of panicked shepherds. The gospel emboldens our lives once we comprehend that Jesus actually came for us.

Fear Not – You Are Favored By God

Luke 1:26-38 – God graced Mary so she could carry Jesus in her womb, and she was willing to follow His plan no matter the cost. The favor of the known God should also diminish the fear of unknown circumstances in our lives.

Grace & Guidance

For every single person, our sin disrupts our relationship with God and others. Without intervention, there is no hope for us, but in the gospel of Jesus Christ, we can find mercy for our transgressions and meaning in our brokenness.
